Counselor - Ms. Dionne Johnson

Dionne Johnson, a New Orleans native, has been living in Texas for 16 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master's in Business Administration. Prior to becoming an educator, she worked as a sales agent and an automobile claims adjuster in the insurance industry. However, her passion for making a difference in the lives of others led her to pursue a career in teaching. After teaching high school English for 11 years, she recognized the importance of fostering the social and emotional well-being of students to promote their academic success. This inspired her to become a school counselor and partner with administrators, teachers, and parents to support the whole student. In her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
