Campus Discipline Management Plan

Student Behavior Management Plan

All grade-level teams will arrange/design rooms that best support student learning in their classroom. Students in each grade level will have the opportunity to work with each other to develop a set of rules and procedures that will help all learners succeed in the classroom. The students will also develop a seating plan that they will follow when participating in cooperative learning groups and independent practice. The daily routine in each classroom will include activities that encourage students to reflect on their day, set and monitor their goals, and complete activities that match their learning style and interest. All students are expected to follow directions, complete assignments, actively participate in their learning, complete assignments/projects that do not interfere with another student’s ability to learn and be respectful when interacting with each other and staff. The counselor will teach social and emotional skills to provide students with strategies to help them solve issues and reflect on their actions. Each classroom will have a calm down space where students can complete different activities to help them refocus their energy and reflect on how they can adjust their behavior. Whole-brain teaching will also be used in every class to help increase student motivation and engagement in all activities.
